A dream within a dream store: poetic mashups with foursquare tips
I wrote a Python program that mashes up poems with foursquare venue tips. The program finds foursquare tips that match the last few words of each line in the poem, and splices a segment of a random tip onto the end of the line (using the last word of the line as the splice point). Inspired by Eric Mika's amazing midterm project in Reading and Writing Electronic Text last year. WCW above the cut, more examples and source code below.
